2010 mercantile hotel, the rocks
Mercantile Hotel, The Rocks I chose The Mercantile Hotel for the 2nd Taylor Square Reunion not only for its proximity to the city but because pocket-sized Lilo Blyton performs there Sunday afternoons.
The weather was splendid and the arrival of my childhood friends Denise, Sue and Diane, and acquaintances from Taylor Square with their respective family and friends was a joyous occasion. Forty years had passed us by, but the recognition was instantaneous. The day was continued at the Manhatton Hotel, Underground Blues Jam, hosted by Frank Macias and Lyndall Daley (sp)
